1. About the service
Lost & Found is run by IT Smart Solutions, Thorsgade 2, 2200 København N, Danmark (CVR —). The service is free and helps reunite lost and found items with their owners.
2. Your reports
- Information must be true and only concern lost or found items.
- Do not write CPR numbers, card numbers, passwords or other sensitive data in descriptions or photos. Cover names and numbers on ID and bank cards.
- Illegal, offensive, discriminatory or commercial content is not allowed.
- You must have the right to the photos you upload.
3. Moderation and “Report listing”
We may approve, edit, hide or delete reports that break these terms or the law. Anyone can use the “Report listing” button on a report. We handle reports as quickly as possible, and if we remove your listing we tell you why by email. You can ask us to reconsider by replying or writing to info@lostfound.dk.
4. Lost property rules
The service does not replace the Danish lost property act – see Lost property rules.
5. Handover
Items kept by us are only handed over against valid ID and a convincing description of the item. We may refuse handover if ownership is in doubt.
6. Liability
We do our best but cannot guarantee items are found or that information from other users is correct. Always meet other users in a public place. We are not responsible for agreements between users, rewards or losses beyond what follows from Danish law.
